I have been searching PistonHeads and Autotrader for the last few weeks looking for my next car.

Started off looking at the Focus ST and BMW 330i/D, after this i was looking at the ST220 [a newer car for the money]. Then i flirted with the idea of a Subaru WRX/STi but, the high running costs put me off in the end.

So now i really dont know what i want to get next and find myself just browsing through PH as if in a daydream!

YES, OH GOD YES.

Been looking for like three months now. Started a thread about it. Badgered Fox, Tom|Nbk, and JanesyB to death about it. Irritated most of motors about it.

Still nowhere near making a decision and now due to stuff coming up i've had to postpone buying for a month/six weeks, admittedly it gives me more time to find something but i'm just sick of it now.

I am sick of it, trying to get a small engine car, fiesta or polo or similar, cheap on insurance and small engine. I want a decent car with low milage under £1000, impossible though i reckon?

Heres my 10p worth, pick a car you want then stick to it.

Having a change of heart every week will drive you mad.

I'm not looking as in "I have to buy now" but I am scanning T'interweb for another car. I'll be buying before the end of the year but I like a look around before I jump in, in some ways it's good to see what is out there but in others it's a bit of a bast when one I really like comes up & then is promptly sold.
I quite enjoy looking for a car :$ The worst part for me is parting with the old one.

look at a slightly larger but still cheap to insure car and forget about mileage, just condition, and you'll be laughing ;)

I looked on and off for the best part of 18 months.

Looked at oldschool E30 M3s, some newer 3 series, some 5 series, Lancia Deltas, Mustangs, Kit cars/bike engined cars, Evos loads...

Then the thought of the S2000 was planted, test one, bought one. Just kind of happens :)

day i passed my test, i searched internet seen a car i liked and was nearby (sheff), went up same day and looked at it and bought it

Have a look at a Mondeo or something that size. Probably wont cost a lot more to insure.

Yep im getting abit ****ed off now to be honest.

The cars im interested in are like 40 miles + away (just abit to far to drive) and not the perfect colour / model im after...

Grrr, its abit annoying becuase afew months ago there were loads of cars in my area that were perfect but I didnt have the money :( Now theres nothing!

No, looking for new cars is great.
Selling cars is annoying though.

You talking about your Civic? Haven't you overpriced it plus don't want to sell it anyway? :p

I'm currently looking for a new car aswell. It's gonna take me ages to find one so I expect to keep the ST220 for another 6-8 months :p

Originally yes, but members of the owners club thought the price was fair:o I have no idea what to replace it with, but its fun looking:p
