Don't see why you say that as most CRT TVs also scan at 60Hz (or even 50Hz for broadcast TV and older consoles) and they're interlaced, too.It'll look fine on a crt tv, but on a monitor it'll be a flickery mess. 60 hz is not good for the eyes!
Certain games like Dead rising fail no non hi-def screens.
CRT monitors have been "hi-def" since about 1990.![]()

With a decent sized VGA monitor your xbox 360 games should look great. Shame about that aspect ratio though![]()
CRT tvs don't process the image the same way montiors do. I can't remember the technical reason behind this - but it's out there if you want to search.
A 60 hz game on a crt tv does not look like a 60 hz game on a crt tv.
