88 Important Truths to Life

Noooo...

There are people who like direct answers, and people who don't. There are people who like long convoluted answers, and there are people who don't. Know your person.
That's not the opposite though. Well at least not of that sentence.

Oh my god, for some reason, your post gave me a huge déja vu, have I already read it on these forums? I can't have!

To be honest. 86 and 87 are the most important ones for me at this moment in my life.and if the last one rings true, then what the hell are we doing posting a forum?

In my eyes, 47 is just plain wrong.

I know loads of people, myself included, who are much happier in a relationship, because the person they're with completes them.

It's a little bit glib but a fair few of the points have distinct merit. It's rather like Wear Sunscreen by Baz Luhrmann except possibly a little more profound although I'd probably still disagree with a few of the points.

I wish I had worn sunscreen this afternoon. Caught a bit too much sun on both arms. More amusingling I was wearing an armguard on the left arm so the sun burn has two pale stripes where the straps were!

"Humans cannot destroy the planet, but we can destroy its capacity to keep us alive. And we are"

Not necessarily true

Some hold more truth than others. The only thing someone has ever said to me that has stuck is however:

It's better to regret doing something, than regret not doing it.

Clearly if your an arse you will jump at stupid representations of this which are clearly not intended(Such as regretting killing someone or whatever).

Don't take it so literally that you live your life by nothing else and you'll be fine!

Soooo...

Nobody hates everybody who doesn't get to the point slowly?

Not quite, you've partially swapped round the descriptors but you didn't need to change from "one" to "body" in the first place and the "somebody" remains because it doesn't require to change. A more accurate opposite would be "No-one likes somebody who gets to the point slowly" or if you prefer "don't prevaricate, for if you do you run the risk of annoying people". ;)

Sound advice from Mr Luhrmann and you didn't follow it. :p I usually find I get a small patch of sunburn right next to my watch where I've forgotten to put the suncream.

I'd add;

When you're worried about what someone might be thinking of you, realise that they're probably too busy worrying about what you think of them.
