Do you really believe that?

Why not? They bought out pc power & cooling two years ago and from memory my last ocz psu was 86% efficient so hardly much of a step up and well acheivable.

As for cost, these should have quality components which is where the money goes.

If they are anything like the old elitexstreme they should have very low voltage ripple and superb stability. Anybody who decides on buying/judging a psu based on its cost for a certain power is mad. That's the equivalent of deciding between two cars which happen to have the same horse power engine and just buying the cheaper one.

Do you really believe that?

Well being that it is all 'certified' by a independent body, ' The 80 PLUS Program', it is more than likely to be true.

Of course there is always reasons that this isn't true, mostly down to the fact that OCZ will of course give 80 PLUS the best, most efficient PSU they have, and use this to base the testing upon the rest of the series.

But isn't this what every PSU company does?

I would say it's pretty believable, you most likely won't achieve a pure 90+, but you should experience a very energy efficient PSU, hopefully 80-85+.

Another words, review or not, this PSU will stand high among all the other PSU manufactures.

But as always, it's always best to wait for the review because these companies always find some crafty way of manipulating their figures :o

I think these are manufactured by Sirtec like the OCZ ModXStream Pro series.

Will be interesting to see reviews, see what components they use.

Bit concerned about these - as their last OCZ PSU's were dire for overclocking - nearly all the complaints about OCUK's overclocked bundles were from OCZ PSU buyers as well. Hope these are a lot better.

Clicked on the BUY NOW link just to check the price (which was suspiciously missing... and the digits still wouldn't fit on my 30" Dell. Ouchey!

Wow they are pretty pricey . . . think id rather go corsair for the money.

i'm hoping that i can still get the cheap 780w OCZ by next payday...if any are left

but whatever the case, i think the corsair is a better buy, because this cheaper OCZ gets a few dodgy reviews on google....plus lets face it, Corsair are the best anyway.

but this OCZ might be good for a couple of years.
