I have just completed the solo mission, Its short, not as good as COD4 but I thought it was worth £14.99 (possibly) Good value if you intend to play online, however I find that the most frustrating experience! Spawn dead Spawn dead etc! People go mad for it though.

The one player game is quite atmospheric especially near the end. I also enjoyed the bit in the Catalina flying boat.:)
 
No, I'll resist. The money can be used to buy something for PS3 instead. I buy all these games on Steam then never play them as I'm always on the consoles.

what servers do you play on for that to happen?
That extremely rarely happens.

And it's much better than COD4, ww2 kicks modern warfare every time.
 
Hmm it doesn't seem to have reduced in price in the shops yet so this is quite a good deal!

I was thinking the other day that I fancy an epic FPS at the moment. Also with my current obssession with trying to improve my RTS skills with CoH, it would be good to play a game which I'll be half decent at so I don't get too depressed at doing so badly with that. :p

It will take an age to download, but apart from that I wouldn't see any problems that would actually stop you playing online. You will probably experience more lag than you would on a faster connection but I guess you probably already know that! It depends on what you find tolerable really so you will just have to try it out for yourself.
 
The single player is pretty painful to play through on veteran (feels way more cheap compared to 4) but the multiplayer is awesome. Prefer that to 4 by far. If you'd play it online often enough, it'd be worth buying :)
 
I grabbed this the last time it was £14.99 on Steam during May. I still haven't got round to playing it yet though, COD4 mp is too addictive :D
 
This is the 2nd time they have dropped it. They dropped it a week after I bought it for full price lol
