Do many people still play Battlefield Bad Company online?

I was considering purchasing this due to it being fairly cheap now and not much new being out at the moment...

I was wondering if its worth getting bad company for some online multiplayer or would i be wasting my money?? :confused:
 
I played it online for the first time the other week and there were loads of people playing. I certainly had no trouble getting a game.
 
Yea still quite popular, I started playing it not too long ago. Online is decent and so is the single player. You get it for PS3 or 360?
 
out of curiosity has any one here got all the achievements on it , multiplayer ones. Including all the wildcards etc ? I simply dont see how some are possible eg. kill 50 people IAR with a boat .... :eek:
 
decided to ordered this today, hopefully will have it tomorrow if anyone wants to join me for a game on xbox live - gamertag = XeNiVeX
 
I was addicted for AGES, 3 ranks from rank 25... but now when ever I join, it has 3 mahoosive problems.

1) 9 times out of 10 the server is full of support, spamming away with med packs all over there feet...

2) Lag.... tons of lag these days, not sure why :S

3) capture the flag mode has been put into quick find, nothing serious just annoys me...

I will jump on tonight and see if i can go up another rank. But as it is these days, I just don't bother with getting good scores, just playing a class that i feel I want to play at that time. Still loving specialist, running up to an enemy base, chucking C4 on all tanks, armored cars and jeeps if enough left, the moment 2 of them leave, KABOOOOOOOOOOM hehe. Cheesy and cheap, but good old fun :)

Great game, I spent an awful lot of good hours on it, wish I could've got a few more trophies, but those saviour badges are ridiculously difficult to get.
Definitely worthy of the Battlefield name.
 
Might give this a go at some point, always loved the BF games.

There are quite a few people in the world that have the full 1000 on the game, however to get all of the awards you NEED to boost them. Some of them aren't attainable by simply playing the game.

Id like to get back into playing, I got it the day it came out and played it for a long time every day all day - the ranking system was great getting unlocks etc. I believe its still very active online too :)
 
Recently got back into this after getting bored of rifleman 1943 very quickly. It was actually the first time i played it since conquest mode was released and i managed to link my GT to the veteran site to get me a new weapon. (Gave up trying the buggy site originally). Got myself back up to a rating of 4. Was like 32 or something when i logged back on.
 
Started this on singleplayer the other day , i've never played online as none of my friends have it
