Selling My 360 For A PS3

Well i purchased my 360 for £140 inc 2 controllers, 6 games

GTA IV
Dead Space
GoW 1/2
PJR 3
Arcade Pack

Selling it again for £140, to raise the funds for the PS3. just wondering do u guys think im doing the right thing, im on the edge but i think when i see the cash ill be a bit more happy :D, is it worth it, cuz i REALLY want this playstation 3, for MGS 4 (I HAVENT PLAYED THIS YET! ARGHHHHH), infamous, killzone 2, and all these other titles that just look the bomb.
 
YES! But wait until after Tuesday 18th's press conference to see where we are with new models and pricing.
 
Difficult to say tbh, only you can decide whether it's worth it. For example if i had to choose would go with my PS3 but i'm sure for every person like me, there's another who feels the opposite.

If you prefer the look of the exclusive games on the PS3 then go for it.
 
The exclusive titles on the PS3 are well worth it. Metal Gear Solid is pretty epic and I really enjoyed Killzone 2.

Don't expect much in terms of Online functionality coming from the Xbox 360 tho.

Most people don't want the decision made for them, they just want backup/re-assurance for the decision they have most likely already made and just not done yet. Which isn't a bad thing, I've asked a few times on certain things like "should I get this game?" and I'd have probably just bought it anyway :P

Regarding the OP, if you think it's the best way the I'd just go for it. You'll never be 100% happy with either console as there is always going to be games that aren't multi-platform that you want to play, like all the times I wanted to play the Final Fantasy games but I never owned a Playstation (thankfully FF13 is now on Xbox). Metal Gear Sold is another one, as is Resistance... both I badly wanted to play but can't, yet I can't justify buying a PS3 just for those.

Just to throw a spanner in the works. I'd personally say it wouldn't be worth selling the 360 for a PS3. My PS3 is hardly switched on (usually Thursday nights for the store update) or when I want to watch a Bluray, while my 360 is on every night. However if you've looked at the games and you really want to play the PS3 exclusives then why not. I would really miss the 360 if I was to sell it.

I much prefer my 360, has a better interface, better games and Live is great. My PS3 mainly get's used for BR movies now. It's a good console it's just sorely lacking decent games, I've finished Resistence 2/Uncharted/MGS4 so far but the other games I own just don't keep me coming back for more.
 
It doesn't really matter what we want, he REALLY wants a PS3, I say go get one!...

As mentioned above, wait for Gamescon in a few days, Sony may announce PS3 price cuts/PS3 Slim or whatever other rumours are abound at the moment..
 
OP sounds like you've made your mind up. If you think the games look better then get one! I can tell you they are!
 
See in the bottom right section of your posts, the 'trust' button? Click that and then configure it, you need to have been a member for a certain amount of time/made a certain number of posts but i think you have enough. Once you've configured it after a couple of hours you'll see a new section in the forums. Make sure you familiarize yourself with the rules of the members market before you start selling, they're very strict and breaking them could get you banned from there permanently.

If the slim gets announced and it meets the spec I need, then you'll likely see my PS3 on there fairly soon.
As long as it still supports HDD upgrades and has a lower power usage then I'll be snapping it up. (assuming the price isn't overly ridiculous)
