I saw some newb call the AA Van out this morning as their POS wouldn't start, should have bought a Fiesta. HANG ON A SECOND.
Yes, after many months of happy motoring, Mr Fez finally threw his toys out of the proverbial pram.
Got up this morning, decided to go do the weekly shop, turned the ignition and the thing would not start. Cue the panicking, whipped the sockets out and got a plug out, popped it on a lead and I had sparks. Smelt fresh fuel so I thought that wasn't an issue. Put the plug back in and tried to start it, I noticed that I couldn't hear the fuel pump prime up when the ignition is turned on.
I thought bugger it, called the AA out (I pay them enough after all). After much faffing about and diagnosing, he got under it, banged the fuel tank and viola! the bugger started. The car was only left a week and the fuel pump seized
So in short, I got an AA bloke out to come and hit my car to make it work. Don't you just love old Fords
