And they were after a full, clean install of Win7.....
I reckon most people only get an increase due to a 'clean set' of drivers, rather than any real improvements to the drivers themselves.
You probably would have the same effect, by uninstalling your 'old 9.7's' and reinstalling 'new 9.7's'.
Also have you noticed how turning on AA in the Capcom engine in Resi5 and SFIV just destroys your framerate...?
Just turning it on to x2 results in upto a 40% drop in framerate...![]()

No difference mate, i run a dual boot Vistax64/Win7x64...
The results are comparable....well within margin of error
Well its does say improvements of up to a % so there must be other factors as to why others are getting more which is the way of the PC.

I run SFIV at 1920x1080 with 4x AA and there is no performance decrease these and 9.7 so im thinking its a problem at your end![]()
