Petrol spend yearly estimate

I spent ~£4k on fuel last year, covering 24,000 miles and a fill up every 220 miles @£35 a fill up.

This year i've spent ~£880 doing 8,000 miles and filling up every 550 miles @£55 a fill up.

Saving a hell of a lot of money now.
 
I just thank the lord I have a fuel card, I average 21mpg and I tend to fill up every 3 days:p I do 30k a year, 15k - 18k of that is private:eek:
 
id say currently i spend about <£50/m I only do city driving and odd trip to friends/family.
so id say less then <£1000 a year defiently.

in my work car i spend about 50quid a week.
 
I can't be bothered to do the maths properly, that would involve going to the car :p
But I reckon I've done about 5k miles in the last 5 months or so, and fuel efficiency tends to be around 45-50 mpg, so.. £1200-1350/year I reckon.
I do very little town driving though really, it's almost all NSL/motorway.
 
I pay probably around £1200 a year - that's quite scary! I can afford it of course, but I've never really worked it out before. It's a fair bit more than I realised, albeit it's a tiny percentage of my salary, but nonetheless.... Then again a railcard for the year would cost about the same for London, and I wouldn't ahve the freedom or flexibility of having a vehicle to play with.

It drinks like a fish but mainly because my driving style doesn't reward me with good economy.
 
My commute is about 30 miles a day and lets say on average 5 days a week over the year.

I do about 25mpg. I seem to put between £200 and £250 petrol in my car per month.

So say 225*12= £2700.

Your getting a car that does 10.5mpg :eek: ;)

oh and my basic maths works it out to be around £2300 a year on fuel for me. Not a problem as taking my last pay slip as an example, I got £320 back in mileage and essential car user allowance :cool:
