I'd play it vanilla. Get the official game patches and then just enjoy it. It was a cracking game and should be enjoyed without mods IMHO.

I had a quick check a few weeks ago before I played it through again. I'd say vanilla is the way to go.

The only really mods you can get for it are to increase the res on Garrick's face and changing the colours of the guns, that is all.

Make sure you get the free mission pack as well.

Other than that play it as is.
