Stainless steel. Hate leather or fabric ones as they start to smell after a while.

Metal - Swatch Irony. It's light and comfortable and strong. Kept losing and damaging too many watches during sports when the leather strap breaks or comes loose

isn't the question clear enough for you?, i am looking for a new watch, and not sure on either metal strap or leather, so looking for opinions, is that so hard to understand?.

I stopped wearing a watch about the same time the strap broke and I got a mobile phone, about 5 years ago. I am no fan of men's jewelry and wear none at all.

part of the question was why, as this could help my decision, i.e some have said that leather smells in summer, which i don't want so i am likely to be choosing a metal strap on this type of info, as there are watches in both metal, and leather that i like equally it has helped me make the decision.

so pointless to some, but it has helped me, so it was worth it.

It's not that I couldn't understand the question; it wasn't that cryptic. It's more down to your apathetic attitude. If you want something in future at least be prepared to put the damn effort in first. We're literally talking seconds here, but obviously that was too much for your attention span to manage. There is absolutely no reason why you didn't put the effort in except that you couldn't be bothered. Even if you are for some bizarre reason unable - there exist a myriad of spell-checking programmes which you can quite easily install. Stop getting so defensive and instead learn from it. You are not talking to a 14 year-old girl on MSN and it does not make you look 'cool'; it makes you look lazy, uneducated, illiterate and rude.

i asked a simple question, if my spelling wasn't correct, big deal, live with it!!.

what more effort did i need? the question was to the point, No?, did you want some long winded essay?
others managed ok to give me an answer.
