Indeed, there is MUCH pressure on people to drink, and if you don't, you can be made to feel like an outcast. I guess it's a matter of realising that going clubbing is in fact, one of the least social things you can do - and is as about as social as walking through a busy town centre.
Enjoy not drinking, find other activities, cinema, video games, trips, social clubs, something like that. You can always turn to soft drinks, drink enough and the sugar/caffeine will make you feel a little tipsy.
Maybe you need new friends. I can't imagine my friends having a go at me for getting a soft drink whilst out.
I think it's easier to have fun whilst drinking, but it's not necessary. Dull and boring things suddenly become hilarious when drunk
