Gun Clubs in Vegas?

I normally just lurk on here but this thread piqued my interest cos I permanently left the UK for dreary old USA.

Would you guys consider doing a week long "gun holiday" package catered to Brits, for maybe $1000 plus lodgings? You can shoot as much as you want 24/7, just have to pay for the ammo. It would be a very large out door area where you can do room clearances, shoot from cars, 1000 yards with the Barett etc. with proper training. If you look on youtube for IPSC or "3 gun" you would get an idea.

You'd get a "buffet" of handguns, full-auto, silencers, tracers, rifles, shotguns and tannerite (youtube it).

I've been playing with the idea of starting a business like for a while but don't know if it would really be viable. The downside is this is the rural midwest and there is absolutely nothing else do do around here in terms of holiday activities.

Looks great, I'm going to Vegas next week also.. can you just turn up at this place and ask to have a shot? (literally :P).

I'll be there too next week, flying out next Monday. We are going to the gun store :)

I fly Friday, back 12th sept :)

OcUK Vegas meet anyone? :D

After seeing Sirrel Squirrel's video I'm definitely going to "get my gun off"....

I'd certainly be up for that, not sure how viable it would be for you but then if it doesn't cost you much, do you have a ranch or something?

I went to the Gun store when we were there, it's a very controlled enviroment with an instructor type setup, they load the guns for you etc.

We got a big shock in Florida this year, we went into a gun store, picked what we wanted, bloke behind the counter quickly went through how to load / fire them handed over the gun a ammo and let us get on with it! We were so nervous as it was totally un supervised. Scared of loading it wrong or somthing!

So far I have fired off a Glock, standard US police issue, M16, M4, MP40, a Revolver of some type, 2 other hand guns, a Pump action shotgun and a Sten. It is a lot of Fun and addictive if you aren't careful you could shoot your way through £100 of ammo quite easily. Just keep wanting more, it's a hell of a rush.

Yes it would be quite easy to setup, most handguns and assault rifles can be had for £300-700. Then have someone come with a bulldozer and build up some large berms and that's about it. The only problems would be insurance costs and full-auto guns which are $15,000+ each and in limited supply. Ammunition costs $0.4-$1 per round right now and 50 cal is $4/round which might put people off.

It's not something I've researched, just an idea I've had knocking about.

for those off to Vegas check your hotel rates and cancel and rebook if they have dropped, they are plummetting, I have 4 hotels booked and have cancelled and rebooked several times and saved about 4-500 quid

Ditto. We've saved £599 each and now have a direct BA flight...

What's happened!??!

Yup. Take your passport though as they need ID before you can shoot.

I went to the gun store whilst i was in vegas a couple of weeks ago. They didnt ask for id at all, and we were 4 young looking lads, i personally look no older than 14 or 15. They just let me shoot whatever.
There was a man inquiring about the age limit next to us and the woman said you have to be at least 18 to fire a pistol but you can be whatever age you like to fire a machine gun. Absolutely ridiculous law.lol

I fired a deagle and ak47, $20 for deagle and $50 for the ak. SO much fun. Deagle is much much more fun than AK though. I would definitely say get a desert eagle, fire it one handed if your instructor will let you, its hilarious.
Get the turret gun though, my friend got it, chain loaded, looked hilarious him firing it. I also didnt realise how incredibly loud guns are even through headphones. and they smell awful, the smoke from the ak nearly made me wretch, although i was very hungover.

i take it you can do this other cities other than vegas. seems like a fun thing to do for someone who has a heathly in guns ironic as that sounds :p:)

going to convince a gun loving friend to go states :D couple of questions though...
how much money for 1 person 1week in vegas?
also can you fire a barret .5O and roughly how much? thx
