this reminds me of a sorta glitch with this game. Some areas with exactly the same wall/barrier height you cant climb over and yet some you can. And i tell you its tricky because you have to run at the ledge to climb up it. Double the fear factor when its in places like Latria where one tiny slip or wrong movement and you fall to your death.

Heading back into DS - had a 2 day break of it :D

main focus is to farm 4-1 . Find the white bow and find the avarice ring wherever they are :D Also get stones so i can upgrade my +6 winged spear to +7

btw where do i find dragon stones ? For the dragon sword (+3 atm)

wait wait,.... i think i can get a white bow from Mr Crow if i am not mistaken. :D

after ive upgraded a little time for boss of 3-1 methinks and then hopefully that will open up 1-3 for me
 
if you have chunks of dragon stone i can trade you a white bow, i have 2 :p
Think i need 2 more chunks to get my sword to lvl 5, im just unlucky that the bugbears aint dropping them :(

Just glitch him lol!

Also at that level killing the red dragon in 1-2 on the bridge gives massive XP and is definitely worth it as it lets you get the Purple flame shield. Get your self a bow, 150 arrows and a fair bit of patience and you can snipe him outta the sky :P

The White bow is in 4-2, and no the crow doesn't have one for trade only white arrows. Bugbears drop dragon stone, shame your not a similar level to me as I have tons of it going to waste :(

Also you need to do main of the main boss's to access level 1-3, so either the boss in 2-3, 3-3, 4-3 or 5-3. The Dragon God in 2-3 is probably the easiest..

I have tons of the splinters of dragon stone, but only 2 of the chunks, feeling a bit miffed just now, busy doing 5-2, got thru both parts of the swamp and was heading back to knockdown the bridge when i was kicked from psn, so the game kicked me back to the game menu :(

Best place to get chunks & pure dragonstone is from the lava area, just make sure your quick and well protected before attempting it.
 
Just completed the game, listening to the end music as i type this, used all my souls for magic for the trophy but i guess that u need the witches as well?

Edit: why is it when u have a lot of souls your game gets invaded, i had 4 people invade my new game, i killed 1 and another invaded and so on, was real worried as i had over 250k souls and was near miranda? ( thru the locked gate at the start of world 1 )

Yep, you need to play through twice to get all the magic, and four times to get all the trophy's!!! :eek:

You get invaded a lot more in NG+ :D
 
Okay i found a new hate, 4-2 I finally get past the manta rays and the skeletons with about 80k in souls from dying so much lol... Only to walk into a cave with ghosts that fire laserbeams that u cnt block and the reaper is past 4 of them?! 80k souls gone lol

Roll underneath them. The reapers are fairly easy if you've got enough stamina as they get stunned every time you hit them. If you get in close to them aswell they'll start melee'ing rather than using magic which is 10 times easier to dodge.
 
Get yourself a bow, after taking down the 1st lurker run down the stairs and about halfway along the next ledge look down for a set of eyes and shoot arrows at him, thats the reaper, the lurker may spawn back in before u kill the reaper but just kill the lurker again and finish of the reaper, then no more lurkers ( apart from the invisible female).

Have lost over 100k worth of souls today, about 70k at the tower knight, got him down to halfway but just couldnt get around him fast enough, the about 10k 3 times in World 2i officaly hate those bloody wolves.

That's the sword I use :), not the most powerfull but it's fast and light. Get plenty of Darkmoonstone and upgrade it.

Aye I have upgraded it abit but i need Pure Darkmoonstone now and i aint found any yet... its fast and the running spin attack can clear out crowds of enemies, plus it has a nice backstep into spinslice move, nice to quickly dodge and counter

wow you completed it already? Did you do world 5 ? Farming 4-1 and 4-2 atm . Unfortunately when i load up DS in online mode i find that 2-2 has reverted to neutral WT. I had previously spent a while getting it to pure black tendency. Ill have to do it all again lol nm. Will do it when im a bit higher level. Finding world 4 very easy atm. Just got to the bit where you go through the fog and these spirit things are shooting laser beams at me and its kinda hard to dodge in full armour AND not fall off a ledge. Still though i killed the reapear in one hit earlier so i'll melee them all. I hope the white bow is close havent seen it so far.
Went back to cash in 28k :)

I did see weird different colours blue green purple etc at where patches is (hes the one who kicks u in te pit?) Do you know what those colour sparkle things are?

i meant to ask does the crescent falcion +1 restore MP or something? i might be getting confused with another weapon that does that

Those are just coloured augites of guidance to let u know something important is there, no other purpose...

And yes all Crescent weapons have mp regen on them, 1 mp every 5 seconds, slow but when coupled with the regen mp ring it works quite well...

I too am having so many problems with WT on online mode, its a bug that was introduced with the 1.02 patch... Basically if you quit the game your WT are all reset... Only way to stop it is to play in offline mode I think...

It seems that setting a world to pure black is easy but getting a world pure white is very difficult... As the only way i know to increase to pure white is by killin bosses... does this mean u would have to kill all 3 bosses in a world in a row without dying in body form to get a pure white world?
