I would choose a computer. Absolutely. Reasons:

- Plays games, music, access to entire internet, can do email and work
- Doesn't nag
- Isn't emotional
- You don't have to go out to dinner with its family
- Plays porn - sometimes better than real sex
- Can drink with it and it won't start an argument
- Don't have to buy it clothes or 'presents'
- You can turn it off
