Spa-Francorchamps - BELGIUM Grand Prix 2009 - Race 12/17

Buttons lead can be seriously cut by Barichello if he has a good race tomorrow.

He could find himself down in 15th by the first corner since I believe he is alongside Kovalainen :o

yup, and remember Badoer had a good start at Valenica with his KERs as so he could be mixing it there at the start.

Rubens has a great chance to seriously cut the lead and be in there with a real shout.

I don't see any reason to believe he's on a significantly low fuel load. Compare Q2 and Q3 times.

I thought similar, both those cars have been decent round Spa today.
Maybe a little lighter than the rest but I wouldn't imagine they'd trash their race just for the glory of pole position.
I'll be cheering both of them on tomorrow. :D

Bitterness towards Badoer will also feature.

Yeah totally, I'm like

Imagine if FI's first points ever were from a race WIN tomorrow, lol!!

they could be. as long as they are not fuelled sill! If they aren't

Giancarlo Fisichella 1:46.308
Jarno Trull 1:46.395
Nick Heidfeld 1:46.500
Rubens Barrichello 1:46.513

Look at the gap between P2 and P3! that is impressive. Brawn will be fuelled to 20-25 as usual.

EDIT

even if fisi is fuelled for 6 laps. he should still be able to open up a good lead and still hit the points. also he had the opportunity to pit on his last fast run (if he was low i think we probably would have) also he didn't hang around on his inlap.

predict 15-18 laps.

Fisichella on shock Belgium pole
Force India's Giancarlo Fisichella took a surprise pole position for the Belgian Grand prix as championship leader Jenson Button qualified 14th.

Barichello for F1 Champion 2009.

I said it an age ago. Button has and is blowing it. Now the car is not perfect Button has fallen apart again like last year.

He's starting to **** me off now with his qualifying. He doesn't know what to do with the cars setup. He's lost. While Rubens is finding a solution that works for him.

Fisi in the Force India and the BMW's! I was sat on the sofa with my jaw on the floor whilst watching qualifying.

I think Fisi will be light, but not as light as everyone is making out.

I actually put a 50p bet on Barrichello for the WDC at 250:1, I should have been more brave :p

The only saving grace for Button is that the Red Bulls aren't at the front. Hope we see some overtaking tomorrow.
