Actually, I'd say phil675 has a good point. Look at the thread title and comments like "I support chemical sterilisation". The OP is only interested in petty namecalling and the equivalent of smashing a peanut with a sledgehammer, not caring about the children. You can't care that much about children if you seem to hate reproduction and view it as a priviledge for the upper class toffs...

Great attitude you have there:).

Hardly. None of us are out desperately trying to save these kids with our keyboards.

It's all very well people saying they care but rarely does that ever translate to anything.

Most will have forgotten about this particular story in a week and you know it.

It annoys me about the women who has 13 kids in care that we end up paying for their children in care.

Not really enough information to go on... however I am baffled as to why the woman isn't busy recovering the children from her first marriage rather than having more.

No, he has a poor attitude and you know it.

Are you going to do something or just rage on the forum? Just what exactly have you contributed to preventing child neglect? Ever done any childminding? I'll bet no to both.

At least I acknowledge it surely thats better than not giving a **** and sweeping it under the carpet.

Yeah that's true but I think the point he was trying to make was that even though you are acknowledging the problem you are probably not going to take any action, so caring and not caring are producing the same effects.

What a ridiculous attitude you have, what has it not translating to action got to do with the ability to care about it. When we stop caring about it THEN there will be trouble.

We're not perfect beings. This case wasn't exactly a Baby P, was it? I don't see how a birthing licence would make any real difference, other than obstructing and intruding on the vast majority of genuinely caring parents.

The kneejerk responses in this thread don't strike me as the right way of caring, if that is indeed the case.
