Favourite stand up comedians?

Top 5 at the moment.
Dave chappelle
Jim Jeffries
Jason Rouse
Bill Bailey
Russell howard

Anyone who says dane cook is funny deserves a punch in the face, he's like the least funny person in the world, I would rather cut my nuts off than watch him do standup because it's painfully unfunny. I mean the people who actually find him funny must use "DURP DURP DURP" as a primary language.

Jack Dee made my face ache more than anyone else I've ever seen. A friend also saw him the week after us on the same tour, and we compared his material/act - It was quite different! Quite impressive!

Out of everyone I've seen, Michael Mcintyre definitely is the best. His observational comedy is spot on.

Michael Mcintyre
Frankie Boyle
Ricky Gervais
Jimmy Carr
The black guy that was on Live at the Apollo some times ago, Sean something i believe?

Favorites in no order:

Jimmy Carr - hes a **** and I'm not a fan of his style, but his jokes are funny, performance smooth and often quite layered humour.

Omid Djalili - can be hilarious sometimes

Hugh Dennis - not always the funniest but delivery is superb.

Russell Brand - sometimes comes out with something really funny rest of the time meh

Bill Bailey - quality

Not favorites:

Michael Mcintyre {sic} - Can't stand him, so horribly and noticeably artificial.

Alan Carr - like an old lady rabbiting on.

Jason Manford - not very funny at all - sometimes says something really funny but then beats every last bit of humour out of it by repeating it to death in the same act.

Lee Mack
Bill Hicks
Eddie Izzard
Dylan Moran
Peter Kay
Chris Rock
Bill Bailey
Lee Evans ( desperately needs new material though)

Really don't find a lot of "comedians" funny.

Lee evans is my favorite by far followed by
Bernie mac did some good ones.
Jim Carrey (great when he actualy does one!) so i cant count him

i was watching def comedy jam the new one the other day, is it just me or is American stand up pathetic ?, i could think of every single "Joke" they do, they said this years had some of the best stand up comedians who ever lived in it, i think any one of us could go over there and be a legend in stand up then :/, i hardly smiled,

is it because its hard to laugh at a 6 foot black gangster wannabe ? because thats all they were, if i was american id find it embarising to call them legends.
