top high end game coming soon?

I could probably max RE5, and I don't have a quad core, SLI or 50GB of RAM. It's nonsense. To make this post contributive to the OP's question though, why don't you just go and download some demo's of new games and see what takes your fancy?

All I'll say is that good games aren't solely based on the graphics. For me, Far Cry 2 is a good example of that. I still haven't finished it because the repetitiveness actually makes me sleepy. And I'm not being horrible about the game for the sake of it there, it actually does make me want to drift off. The most fun I've had in that was running over Zebras.

Im just sick of companies not making graphics good enough to match the specs of high end pcs.

Then go start a games company! Seriously, what percentage of the PC gaming market would buy a game that could only run on an i7 and 2xGTX295s? There is absolutely no incentive for developers to make a game like this.

How old are you? And how many people do you think actually have Quad SLI setups and £000's to throw away on multiple GPU and top end CPU setups? It's common knowledge that software hasn't caught up to hardware yet and that's a good thing because otherwise we'd all be forced to drop thousands of pounds on computers to experience the eye candy. Nobody forced you to buy 4 graphics cards and if you don't like it that you've spent so much money on something that plays games only as well as something that cost half of what your machine cost then maybe next time you'll learn your lesson?

Better still why don't you do something productive with a high end machine like that? instead of purely playing games on it?

I would love to see a pic of his monster rig. ;)

Urm... isn't it a good thing that games companies are making games that run great without having to spend a fortune of new hardware? In the bad old days you had to drop several hundred quid on a graphics card just to play the latest games. Thankfully those days are behind us now!

on crysis wh maxed out 2560 x 1600 full aa etc. get a minimum of 30fps

so with x16 AA 2560x1600 res you get a mininum of 30 fps at all times?

Quad sli on this rig that was tested on warhead which runs better than crysis achieved 28 in the timedemo with just 2x antialiasing. Your claiming a mininum of 30 with x16aa at all times? lol.

That is a sweet rig if it is yours. How old are you?

I dont think crysis is remotely playable yet at 4XAA @ 2560 x1600 totally maxed let alone 16xaa

How come the LCD only showed 4GB DRAM and 4GB Page File size? And do you know how much power is wasted seeing as a lot of programs don't support four cores and a lot of programs also don't have support for four way SLI.
