Recovering GamerTag ??

Hello,

Trying to recover my Xbox 360 gamer tag to my brother xbox 360 and having problems all morning

I enter my gamer tag "BEN 01UK"

Then e-mail and password

Accept the terms and conditions

Download something then loads another screen to download my profile i guess, sits there for 2 mins there gives error with xbox live please try later ??

Any ideas been doing it all morning since 9am.

Yes i can login to the account via Xbox.com, shows my gamer points etc

Still not working, how strange
