Hayley, you might want to invite him to the next ocuk motors meet.
He can meet and greet ocuk's finest then!

I, confidently, predict numbers will be down.

I am absolutely DISGUSTED by every single one of you in this thread. You should all be completely ashamed of yourselves

Have you never heard of the word DYSLEXIA

<Some other drivel>

In the time it took you to register here and type your little rant, you could have helped your friend fix his advert.

Now which one do you think he would appreciate more, you telling him and his family about the nasty internet people or you helping him with his advert?

He probably went off crying or something, somebody better call a WAAAAmbulance.

Subaroohoohoo.

It scares me that someone who drives a high-power performance vehicle hasnt got the intelligence to spell words correctly.

Just for laughs, see how many mistakes you can spot :D

Listen, you stereotypical nerdmonger, the average type of person who crave the mainstream performance cars are generally the types that left school at 16 anyway, so it makes sense that the people who sell them are often only going to be semi-literate. However I bet you and your bespectacled friends at the fantasy book club had a roaring good laugh over it. For hours.

Well said

Anyone who was serious about buying a car would go to look at it and then judge based on the condition of the car, state of the documentation etc... you wouldn't stop just because someone couldn't spell.

Anyone who was serious about selling a car would put in at least a little effort to write an ad not written in txt spk. The odd spelling mistake, even confusing their with there etc, is hardly going to put someone off, but when there are repeated, appalling, spelling mistakes (or intentional), it just says that if they couldn't be bothered with the ad, they couldn't be bothered with the car, even if that's not the case. And when there's lots of examples around, it's hardly going to inspire someone to choose to go look at that one as a priority.

So no you wouldn't stop because someone couldn't spell, but you'd go look at other examples first, whose ads inspire a little more confidence.

Will she also bring a Smoker, Boomer, and Hunter to complete the set?

We all have, but I'm sure even a Dyslexic person knows that it's "you" not "u".
Who honestly showed him this thread? If it was you, you're the only person to blame to show him this and upset him.

Really, tried taking his own life over spelling? Dear lord I'd have offed myself twenty times over with what I've gone through!
If it's true though, yes it's sad....honestly who showed him this thread? :/
No, it was not me who showed him this thread, it was a nasty spiteful idiot from the Swapz website who sent it to him. He phoned me at work to explain what had happened and I logged on to have a look.

And no, he did not try to kiil himself over spelling! Your flippant remarks are disgusting. It was a complete combination of things - have you ever sat with someone with severe dysexia for hours and hours whilst they try their hardest to spell things. Have you? If you havent then you have absolutely no room to talk. In people with true dyslexia, even copying items from something written in front of them, their mind changes it from the time they look at it to the time they write it. Even short term memory loss is affected. It isn't just bad spelling, it is a whole range of items, so please dont be so ignorant as to comment on things you know nothing about.

I understand most of you men have aboslutely no feelings, and probably dont give a crap about the people you hurt, but please - in this day and age there is no reason or excuse for ignorance. I'm sure you are far from perfect so put yourself in his position - how would you feel if someone posted a whole thread about your failings, tearing you to little pieces? I very much doubt you would like it, so please just think about your words

As stated in my last post, I did not tell him about it. In fact I was probably one of the last to know. He knew about it a week before he told me what site it was on because he knew how upset I would get about people being that spiteful.

Thank you very much, I think that is the first sensible post I have read in this thread.

Anyone who knows anything about cars will take the car on face value, without the prejudice and ignorance.
