About a month ago I ordered a part for my camera off ebay with the value of about £50. Tehn about 2 weeks ago, I got the 'sorry you were out' note in the post. So the following day I went to the post office to pick it up. It wasn't in the office. so I returned a few days later. Still not in the office. third time lucky? No. They have lost it and don't know where it is.
I was told to phone customer services, which I just have. Well the customer servies is next to useless. It's all pre-recorded options with no humans to talk to. But there is a compensation process. However most of it mentions "if you are the sender" etc etc.
Should it be me that seeks the compnsation, or should it be the ebay seller, who then sends me out another item? What is the best way to proceed with this?
