Assuming that was partly aimed at me - what makes a Mondeo dreadful in your well informed eyes?

It wasnt aimed at you at all but the only Mondeo worth driving is the ST220.

Just find that its the best out of them all. I haevnt personally drove 1 just been a passenger in it and same for the others that Ive been in. And they dont really look good but it doesnt matter what other people think of the car you drive as long as you like it and it does its job.

So the only car worth driving in any range is the top of the range model? A bit narrow minded, no?

The Mondeo handles superbly for a car of it's size, is well equipped, reliable...... etc etc... Plus the 130 TDCi engined one (mine) is nearly as fast as your shopping cart 0-60 and probably a damn sight quicker than it mid/high end. So why's that not worth driving? Or would you prefer going on to slate the BMWs around here?

Yes it flies like a wasp and also shoots out lasers. Ive said why the 1.5 that you hardly ever see if different to the common 1.3 or 1.0

no no. its not i never said that. Some cars lower down the range are also good like the Mk4 Golf TDi PD130 is a good car and i think better than the Mk4 1.8T GTi

The dash is a good idea. I didnt like it at 1st but it makes sense havin it where it is cause it opens up your view of the road and makes it easier to read the dials.

So it's a Yaris T-Sport?

yes its a T sport and I feel its the best 1 out of the lot. The others had their good points like the 1.0l for been a good city car and more mpg but if you were looking into a 1.3 I would say theres no point cause the 1.5 is a better car over all and does about the same mpg and is a lot better to drive

You specifically described the cars of the people involved in this discussion as "dreadful" - I think you should back that up or apologise

never said that their car was dreadful cause I dont know what cars they drive, just if its a poverty spec model of them then they are. Plus you lot think and say my car is dreadful so why cant I think and say the same thing?

How much do these weigh and bhp? I'm thinking they ain't too impressive. Good car, the Yaris though.

its about 950 and has 105hp, not a lot i know but power to weight ratio is 108hp. 0-62 is 8.5-8.7 and they have about 105lbs of torque. Also its VVTi poor mans vTec. But with a few mods like, Induction kit, manifold, sports cat and better back box you can get it to 118hp and then a ECU remap looking at 120+
