What do your tyres cost?

I had to order 4 new tyres for the Manta yesterday. Now, there isn't a lot of choice in the 14" range, especially if you want something even slightly "sporty"

Ended up going for Falken ZE912 at £29 a corner.

I doubt many people here could comment on the Falkens, as most people will not have such puny little tyres and therefore not have needed to try them :D

What was your last tyre bill like?

Last tyre bill was £110 a tyre...:(

Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3s - 225/50 R16

Was quite upset that I spent £440 on tyres and then only got 5k out of them before the damn car died!

FYI ZE912's are meant to be incredibly crap, and this is from an FK452 fan.

The leon is around £120 a corner, the BMW is more, but I'm not sure exactly how much more yet as it hasn't needed tyres!

Wife is running on toyo proxes 195/50/15 @ £29 a corner :)
My tank is on goodyear gt2 205/65/15, too scared to price up replacements!

Falken SN828 SINCERA £26.60.

Decent tyres in the size that was on the mini are hard to get. Apparently they are the "wrong size" so I should have more choice next time...

My last order.

2 of 2054517WKUMHR88L.KU31[2] KUMHO TYRES / CAR / KUMHO KU31 ECSTA SPORT KUMHO KU 31 - 205/45R17 88W XL TL Total Price £114.20

Is that on Camskill? Good deal isn't it, I might get 4 for one of my sets of wheels I have for the 205.

Aye it is, shame they are bad on track. :( I am thinking about Hankook RS-2's next. Oh but you really should have got A539's on the Manta, I loved them on the Dolomite.

Have you seen the choice in these sizes? :( It's awful! Avon ZV3 which I've had before and hated, various random Vredesteins, long life Goodyears and Michelins, Toyo CF1 (also supposedly incredibly crap), Hero (!), Nankang, various longlife Uniroyals (never got on with those) Yoko A539 not easy to come by any more....(185/50 14 is the closest I found and they are DOUBLE the price!!!)

etc etc etc.... there's just so little choice at 14" unless you are buying dedicated track tyres.

Got 912's on my prelude, they are bad, very bad, but then every car is a different story so they may be good on your Manta :)
Think i paid £55 a corner for 205/55/r15

I used to have trouble getting decent 14"s on my saxo, I used to use either Dunlop SP MAXX 9000's or Michelin Pilot's, but I doubt either are still available :(

Hmm can't remember the last time I bought some tyres, was either 2x 215/45/17 Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetrics for about £100 a corner for my old clio orrrrr 4x 195/50/15 Yokohama Parada Spec 2s for £26 a corner for the mr2.
