Going to see a film tomorrow with bf and trying to decide between The Final Destination and District 9 ... we have 90% been leaning towards The Final Destination as District 9 seems more like a documentry than a film. Has anyone seen any of these ? and what would you suggest

Thanks :)

Not seen Final Destination but I can tell you that District 9 is worth seeing.

Awesome film!!

Apparently Disctrict 9 is terrible.
My friends went to see it yesterday, and they said sometimes if they don't get the actual content, you can still appreciate the actual film; but apparently, it was awful, and they were really disappointed.
Obviously just their opinion, and yours may differ.

I saw FD a couple of weeks back: it isn't a very cleverly written film, not one of the best, but if you like the whole FD idea, and the pervious ones, go for it.
Especially if you can view it 3D where you are - I enjoy the effects :)

No offence, but your friends are thicker than thick. Unless you are a certified plank of wood, the film is not difficult to follow.

District 9 is the best film of the year. Nothing will come close!

Not seen either of them - but reviewers are saying District 9 is incredible where Final Destination is... well **** :p

I'd go with District 9 :)

Wife dragged me to Final Destination last night.
After it it finished she spent about an hour apologizing for her wanting to see.

Cost me £18.20 for the both of us as well...

It really is is so bad, its beyond comprehension.

District 9 however is awesome and something different which I really enjoyed.
