If you bother to read the new on the left hand side you will see the login servers are borked. Majorly annoying - I've actually fired up DDO again... :o
 
I had a Gnome warrior named Huge <In Japan> (teehee), and he was awesome fun. Something immensely satisfying about a tiny little guy dual wielding massive axes in WSG and AB. He respecced to Prot though and tanked for a long time. Sold him in the end.

Tee hee... i got mah gnome back :D
 
Our instance server was quite laggy today. But the new hotfixes make the Northrend Beasts HC encounter a bit smoother and not so horrible to one hit tanks all the time.We didn't get them all down though but it's close now.

* Item - Death Knight T9 Tank 4P Bonus - Decreases the cooldown on your Unbreakable Armor, Vampiric Blood, and Bone Shield abilities by 10 sec. (Down from 20 sec)


Glyphs

* Glyph of Scourge Strike - Your Scourge Strike increases the duration of your Blood Plague and Frost Fever on the target by 3 sec, up to a maximum of 9 additional seconds. (Old - Your Scourge Strike has a 25% chance to cause Blood Plague and Frost Fever.)
* Glyph of Unbreakable Armor - Increases the armor granted by Unbreakable Armor by 20%. (Old - Increases the amount of damage absorbed by Unbreakable Armor by 20%.)
* Glyph of Vampiric Blood - Increases the duration of your Vampiric Blood by 5 sec. (Down from 10 sec)

Glyphs

* Glyph of Typhoon - Reduces the cost of your Typhoon spell by 8% and increases its radius by 10 yards, but it no longer knocks enemies back. (Down from 20 yards)


Hunter
Beast Mastery

* The Beast Within now lasts 10 sec (Down from 18 sec) but now also increases all damage you deal by 10% at all time.
* Bestial Wrath now lasts 10 sec. (Down from 18 sec)


Mage
Fire

* Combustion now also increases your critical strike damage bonus with Fire damage spells by 50% when activated, now lasts until you have caused 3 non-periodic critical strikes with Fire spells.


Priest
Shadow

* Twisted Faith now increases your spell power by 4/6/8/12/16/20%. (Up from 2/4/6/8/10%)
* Improved Spirit Tap effect changed to : Your Mind Blast and Shadow Word: Death critical strikes have a 100% chance and your Mind Flay critical strikes have a 50% chance to increase your total Spirit by 10%. Mana regeneration effect remains unchanged.


Rogue
Assassination

* Envenom now benefits from Attack Power a little more.

1 dose: [ 9% of AP + 215 ] damage (Up from [ 7% of AP + 216 ] damage)
2 doses: [ 18% of AP + 430 ] damage (Up from [ 14% of AP + 432 ] damage)
3 doses: [ 27% of AP + 645 ] damage (Up from [ 21% of AP + 648 ] damage)
4 doses: [ 36% of AP + 860 ] damage (Up from [ 28% of AP + 864 ] damage)
5 doses: [ 45% of AP + 1075 ] damage (Up from [ 35% of AP + 1080 ] damage)

Shaman
Elemental

* Flame Shock now deals 834 Fire damage over 18 sec at max rank. (Up from 556 fire damage over 12 sec) Lower ranks increased accordingly.
* Lava Burst no longer consumes Flame Shock.


Enhancement

* Earthen Power changed to : Your Earthbind Totem's pulses have a 50/100% chance to also remove all snare effects from you and nearby friendly targets, and your Earth Shock reduces enemy attack speed by additional 5/10%.


Glyphs

* Glyph of Flame Shock - The periodic damage dealt by your Flame Shock can now be critical strikes. (Old - Increases the duration of your Flame Shock ability by 6 sec and it is not consumed by casting Lava Burst.)
 
Was going to tank for fun on my DK. As yet another round of nerfs hit blood making other specs better I can't be bothered anymore.

People may think I am whining, but every patch DK's are changed. COoldowns altered, enter moves replaced or their effects changed. Each patch we need to go between the best tank spec from blood, frost or unholy... I really can't be bothered anymores.
 
They nerfed Heart strikes cleave. Also because of ArP being reduced blood DK's got a DPS nerf too (people are assuming up to 7 percent).

Vampriic BLood being nerfed is pretty major and frankly wasn't needed since DK's are the worst tanks at the moment.

I originally started one because I wanted to be a magic tank, but pretty much all of that is trashed now. I really hate it, not because they are trying to balance a class - but they don't. If something is too good they will trash it where it is almost completely useless or doesn't function how it should.

Blizzard sometimes strike me as a "we didn't think you would figure out this strategy or this spec, so we will ruin it for you". They have banned guilds for using a strategy to kill the a boss because of a problem / tactic they didn't think anyone would think of... it's insane.

Blood is gunna take a massive pounding, :(

the heartstrike cleave is massive at tho, i'm hitting 2 targets for easy 10k each with that, and 6 of these attacks over 2x global cd/s. I have been hitting 11/12k dps on fights and keeping this going over a 3/4min fight, its massive.

Its due a nerf, but gunna be a massive hit to dks, i think rogues are the one that need a nerf atm.
 
They are getting a slight nerf with FoK.

Not the right kind of nerf IMHO. Lowering FoK's base damage will only move it from being useful to no longer on the action bar.

I don't think boneshield is that great personally - it is fine for slow hitting bosses, but fast hitting bosses are several mobs it isn't that awesome.

I don't understand why keep nerfing DK's when they are already pretty bad as tanks. Our spike damage is insane :/ They really need to fix both Warriors and DK's though truthfully.

I have seen a screen shot of a rogue hitting 10K of DPS :/ that is pure madness. I must say I do like the changes to a lot of the game, but I do wish they would make their mind up on stuff.
 
More DK nerfs :(

I knew I should have stuck to one of blizzards love childs (dr00d or pally)

How is it balanced that a dr00d can quite easily out dps a DK in either feral or boomkin, or that they are by far one of the best tanks in the game... oh oh and just to top it are one of the best healers in the game too ?

I have a lvl 70 dr00d I have a feeling I shall be lvling it up soon. Sick and tierd of jumping from spec to spec depending on what is flavour of the month. At least with a dr00d it doesnt matter what 2 specs you have you will still be imba.

Yes it is a rant (whine), its not very often that I do. But frankly I've had enough. The last patch DK's went from the best tank in the game to the worst with one swing of a bat and thats balancing ?!?

I mean Scourge strike is currently worse than obliterate for Unholy specs? What the hell is that rubbish?

I am leveling a prot paladin and it is stupidly over powered. At level 18 or so I was in SFK and soloing most of it by myself in terrible gear I grabbed from auction house.

DK's are a shell of what they used to be, Unholy Blight which was awesome for AOE threat as a tank or AOE DPS got nerfed to heck and back to now a dot from death coil -.-
I loved the Dual Wield specs from back in the day when Howling Blast was not the 51 point talent, now it got moved with bloody Hungering Cold.
