OcUK Photo Comp - Season Eight : Round Nine - "Curves" DISCUSSION

I have a few ideas but Ive gone and sprained my ankle :mad:. In fact my ankle is pretty fitting of the theme at the moment, might take a pic and enter it :p.

Some good entries so far, loving yours Steve. Have you got any shots of the full sculpture? Looks awesome.

well my wee trip away wasn't quite the success I'd hoped for. I saw this on Google street view and thought the staircase would be quite a nice 'curve' for this months theme but little did i know that the street view motor only went past here quite recently as in addition to this screenshot there were two temporary cabins and a forklift in front of the stair along with all the fencing etc I was not best pleased :mad:

i've had a change. wanted him to curl up for me but he wasn't playing ball so have to settle for this one.

Getting the shawdows on a model looks easy but can be a lot harder, my entry even though I'm not happy with it was a sod to get right.
 
Well i've found someone thats willing to lend me their d40, so i might try and enter this one :)

I've used it for about 10 minutes and much prefer it to the 350d i was using last time :)
 
My entry is in. No naked Helen this month I'm afraid.

Is the EXIF info I posted in there ok?

For some reason when I use Lightroom and then edit in Photoshop, it doesn't retain the EXIF :(

Always reassuring :) - I've only heard good things from them, and the company seems to be run by lunatics. I was warned in particular about one of their designers, shes known for following newbies and throwing things at them! :D

If I get it I'll be doing their IT Support :) Excited :D
