***Official Halo:ODST Thread***

Well me,steveo,andrewd and another guy dont know his real name or if he is on forums on easy reached 256k in 1hr 30 mins we did at first try it on normal but kept getting shafted pretty early on =( thou when were all on again gonna do next map but on normal i think we said?
 
Just finished my second run through (Solo Legendary) and it wasn't too bad :) Except for this one part on Coastal Highway I just died over and over again because the retard on my Hog would not shoot anything until I was almost dead.

I actually found myself playing much better on Legendary then I did on Heroic and I enjoyed it way more aswell, it felt like Halo 1 again when I had to choose my fights carefully.

It's crap playing online anyway, much better in person.

I'm back in Birmingham now, and that means back on a 3G net connection. I'm working in London for the next month so will not be playing online for at least a month even if I get my net sorted at home by then (been waiting 5 weeks already...).
 
Just finished my first Heroic playthrough, really enjoyed it. My only niggle is that the ending seemed a little rushed, made me want more even though it's doubtful that there will be.
 
Just had another go on firefight with the lads from earlier did a map on normal in 34mins so got achviemeant for that then attempted a third/forth map on normal and couldnt get past set 1 again =(

++ It became laggy as hell any on else getting the lag issue?

Great games with you Mark i have really enjoyed it past few days :D cracking game and am really liking it with the right people ;)

I had a quick crack at that, just kept running out of ammo and getting owned :(
 
Almost got the Vidmaster Endure achievement, we got to Set 4 - Round 3 - Wave 5, If we had just finished that wave we would have got it :(

We nearly lost on the previous wave because I was the only one left with like 1% health. Literally one shot would have killed me, but I just managed to hang on until wave 5 and everyone respawned, but on wave 5 I was screwed =/

I reckon we could have done it if I just had more health because I would have been able to run over all the hunters and chieftains.

It was just so frustrating that we got right to the end just to all die, we had no lives and all the health packs were gone.

Just wanted to find out something, I am playing through this coop with a friend, who has yet to play the game, now for the third clue we found our way into Kikowani staiton, however as this was the end game clue for me last time I just wanted to check if it would indeed skip the remaining clues, or if you continue finding the rest of the clues after?

Do not wish to spoil it for my friend :)

The game is non-linear you can get the clues in any order

I checked, what it was is because I played with brother, then invited my sister along half way through the story it didn't count for some reason :S so I had to do 2 chapters again to make it unlock. Was worth it though, 350gs for 40 minutes work! :D
 
Hey all, my mate and I have tried twice to play the campaign, admittedly whilst intoxicated but it seems to take a while to get going. How long does it take before the big set pieces that I remember from the series kicking in?

How the hell we did that in 35 minutes I have no idea. Musta been the warthog and the choppers that did it ha. :D

Great games all day, except for the lag at the end! :rolleyes:
 
lol awesome guess it depends on the map and the type of kills you get pistol headshots vs hammer and chopper kills :D i love that hammer ;) plus taking out the wraiths helped with some of them getting us 5k+ for 1
 
Bit late on getting in on the action on this one but me and some friends bought this yesterday, finished the campaign (co-op) on heroic in 5 hours with no trouble at all. Is legendary much harder? as i might give that a bash tonight to get the other achievements?
not tried any other modes yet? bit disappointed with the campaign though it was pretty easy.

:( 2 hours and 22 minutes wasted!
 
Finished the single player campaign over the weekend. Really enjoyed it. Just going back through mopping up a few achievements.

I have 28/30 Audio logs just need one more within the main streets... but I'm not sure what one I need?! Do I need to go to every location again?! :(
