no? cos they dont bloody exist

the idiot mondeo driver who parked behind me when i just popped into tesco managed to properly drive into my rear bumper whilst getting out his parking space

how the sodding hell do you do that? pushed it so hard ive got two cross head screw head imprints in my bumper

i specifically left extra space when parked to make sure he could get out. when i get back to my car a v8 m3 is behind me, i get in, take it out of gear and the car slowly creeps back on the hand brake and i think hmmmm get home and then see the bumper. shoot back to tesco but see the m3 has plastic caps over its numper plate screws so it must have been the mondeo driver

hope he gets aids, falls down the stairs and dies slowly

end of rant

Yes, my old mans. Altough he has only had it a week so there is time :p

Though it is crap, not Fords fault! :)

Maybe it is indeed a Ford thing :p

My uncle and aunt both had mondeos from new (circa 98) and by the time they scrapped em (2008) both had duct tape on the bumpers. My mate has had 4 escorts ran into and and one time had an escort 1.8 diesel and 2 petrol 'dead uns on the drive both with duct tape and sponge all over the place, the 1.8 got run into with me in it as a passenger by a lady who was fiddling with her radio and lost its bumper totally but proving it wasn't his driving style :D Not sure how his first one died but i saw it before they towed it (sat on the drive for years) and it was ducted as well. My dad had a brand new 54 plate Mondeo that got rear ended whilst parked in the driveway by a lwb sprinter driver trying to turn in the road and was written off.

MINE!

it does have reason for it though. Scrape on the rear bumper, split in it, and dent in the wing :)

None of which were my fault.

None of which were my fault.

i expect the moron thought the same whilst he drove off.

its still getting to me that
A) he was so incompetent he couldnt get out of a perfectly sized space without hitting my car
B) he just drove off, to him its perfectly ok to behave like that

hell be the sort of moron that doesnt indicate and cannot drive in the proper lane on motorways

When i first got my mondeo no duct tape anywhere, how ever my dad reversed into it with his van now i have a nice toe bar shaped hole in my rear bumper, so i could probably use with some duct tape on it.

i always park either really far away or somewhere you're clearly not supposed to park (like a massive corner section)

that way nobody else parks near you

Its a combination of massive rear pillars, very poor rear visability, and bumpers that flex and split rather than breaking fully.

And a lot of stupid drivers.

Only reason most Mondeos have duct tape on them is due to the owners being cheap skates, you will also find on these Mondeos bad service records and 4 different make tyres and brakes bought from the scrap yard for 2 quid.

Still better than a Vectra though
