So who leaves the wheel such that the front wheels will immediately rest against the kerb?
If it's on a hill then yes, otherwise no.
1st gear or reverse, always! There are some horror stories of Golf's rolling down drives with the handbrake on!
No or I can't use remote start![]()
Me - always lock the steering, so do it depending on what side the kerb is on![]()
But I have always been told that in 1st the compression is too short, and in practice is easier to overcome. So 2nd is better on balance.
Science is required here. Motors meet at Millbrook, 10 minutes.
+1
I also can't believe people can start up any vehicle without depressing the clutch. You have to be a complete retard to not do it IMO (no offense peeps)
Infact, to start the majority of tractors you HAVE to put your foot on the clutch otherwise it won't let you start it.
If people aren't taught to do it that way, why does that make them retarded? I wasn't taught to do it, nor do I drive a tractor, so I don't do it.
Yup always in gear. Did it to my friends car the one time, even stated that I left it in gear, then she knocked down the wall![]()
