I have no problems with them and they're now my retailer of choice. Customer service was great when I had a problem, rang up and got put through to someone right away (even after 1800) who sorted my problem then and there and emailed me to follow up that I was happy with what they had done.

They have cheap prices, they ship early and with free recorded and their site is nice to use.

The only issue is that the owner isn't allowed to trade I believe due to other things but that hasn't effected my experience of using them and I will continue to do so!

Seem's the place selling for £28.99 are having a rather busy day, just hope my local postie is as busy tomorrow and Thursday to ensure mine is delivered with most haste! He parks outside my house when delivering to mine and neighbouring roads, might have to go and have a word with him the next couple of days before he starts his rounds ... don't wanna waste time!

Ha.

I read the thread on AVForums and that is what I found out. Seems most people are annoyed at the previous practices but not with how the new company is doing.

I wish I worked for them, I'd have DR by now!!

What I heard too with bit more, if you check out their website they say the name is registered in England and Wales but the number gives up different company name at same address. While this is no certain proof of dodgy business operations, what's wrong is if someone using the website as trading name and not declaring the actual company which is behind the website.

Anyhow, couldn't give two... about the company, Hope you guys enjoy the game, am p'ed ain't got my copy;)

What's the mean average :D anyone?
 
According to the Eurogamer review for the console version bodies vanish after 30 seconds :( I am hoping this doesn't apply to the PC version. It also sounds to me like this game might suffer from old school flashpoint bugs like shoddy interiors and walls etc not actually acting as true cover. Does looks really promising still though. I too am hoping the island send some shipments the way of the mainland soon ;)
 
The thing I found quite ridiculous from reading the review was not being able to close doors once you open them.

I'm going to have to stop watching that. The idiots in the chat window I can handle but with each passing second of seeing the game in action I started to lose all hope in this being anything particularly special. I guess it is a far different experience watching some guy play it to actually hitting it in co-op with a few pals though.

i thought it looked good, i just think the guy that is playing it is just rubbish!!
 
i'm struggling to see what's actually wrong with this game...more the ineptness of the guy playing it, and all the prats in the chatbox basically bawwwing about it not being CoD4.

this game looks great, clearly being played on the PC though, still not sure which version to get, just had a couple of friends saying they are considering it for the 360 to so that may swing it.


edit: love how the hummer just had it's engine damaged and so couldn't go, excellent :)

That is actually the 360 version he is playing. He mentioned about the controller at one point and people adding him to Live.


The game just looks horribly generic. I've played too many FPS games over the years to get that excited about what I'm seeing here. The enemy A.I is scattered and doesn't seem to do much organically. Hard to tell from watching that but they just seem to be placed in a linear sort of fashion. On a plus though, some elements of it remind me of Brothers In Arms: Hells Highway. Although really flawed, I totally loved that game because the combat was truly cinematic at times. So we will see. This is def a game for the PC though. Mission Editor is vital for longevity imo.

yeah i figured after posting that he was looking side to side far to in-organically.

hated BIA:HH but that's just me, this looks different, to me this doesn't look so generic, to me CoD IS generic (however good it may be) its predecessors were in the mould of their predecessors and so on ad infinitum, this seems more a mix of active FPS/ghost recon/full spectrum warrior it's exactly NOT generic, it's poking it's head outside the box (which is all you can realy do when a game is set in reality) while still keeping both feet inside
