That video makes me so angry, he should get him done after the fact he's blatantly assaulted the guy, grabbing him round the throat and pushing him.

What I would do in that kind of situation is run away like a girl and hide in the cupboard, but that's beside the point.

he didn't he was arrested and charged and now has a curfew.
or are you calling the solider a *****?
if you are then no he didn't get off with a warning he wasn't charged with anything, and was hopefully congratulated by the police for conducting himself in a lawful manner in an incredibly difficult situation.
