No, he should get off with a bullet in his leg imo, I still think that like in some states in the US, you should be able to shoot trespassers... Would teach them not to come on peoples property's.
 
You have to ask - why were the chavs videoing the scene? To give as evidence so that the guy defending his house on his front door step arrested and sue for damages?

if you are then no he didn't get off with a warning he wasn't charged with anything, and was hopefully congratulated by the police for conducting himself in a lawful manner in an incredibly difficult situation.

I was talking about the guy, the geezer, the bloke, who was defending his home. Hes the good guy, I wholly support him in his actions. How is it everything I said was taken the completely wrong way and, why are you picking on me on the internets.:(

I don't really see how it could possible be BS and we all know we read enough of the stuff here in GD! Why would the chav agree to making up such a story and get himself a curfew and become a national laughing stock?

surely the random 'punch a celebrity' is purely in jest? it's not like anyone who has said they're going to lamp a celebrity is going to.

hitting a scummer like that may stop him going out and lamping a load of innocent people, which i'm all for if it protects the masses...
