Nice one, ill add you when i get in. Would love to do co-op on hardcore.
Would be awesome to do co-op without properly knowing the controls

Gives me a few hors to work out controls and figure out the first mission. Christmas has actually come early.... god help me, im 23 and overly excited about an xbox game :/
Hey guys, almost finished the second mission last night, but I kept getting a failed primary... Is there a log where I can look up my objectives? I was fairly tired so am going to try again now, got the day off

i loved ofp 1,amra1 and 2 i play them all the time tbh only games ive ever gone back to.
will i like ofp2? and should i get it on pc or xbox as i do play arma 2 now a lot on pc so could get it on xbox just for fun?.

general consenus seems to be all the pc owners hate it for not offering dedicated servers and generally not being as good as they expected, they also have a direct comaprison in armaII, and it seems to be not as good in a lot of people eyes
on the 360 though owners have nothing like this and are used to hosting their own games so seem more forgiving...I think the fact that its the first more involved shooter we have had available to us, so we are quite excited and to behonest having played 4 player co-op I can see why, its immersive and challenging when compared to any other shooter on the 360
its the game I have been waiting for on the console I think its a superb communal experience
Guys, I am seriously stuck on the 3rd mission... When I get the APC to defend the beach head. I am right in thinking I just have to sit in the villege inside the APC with me team and defend off the hordes of enemies right? Or and I supposed to go somewhere?
I have one APC left from the previous objectives before hand...
Keep dieing and getting blown up inside the APC from all sides. Plus the squad is bloody useless!

Just keep close to the building it tells you to defend and put you squad on defend, all the APC's will get killed so dont go inside it.
Just keep defending South and then East (no need to move from the building) and eventually you will complete it.
I spent 15 mins wondering around the village to find the best defence spot, found it, threw a grande at my feet, respawned, got into the APC, told my team to drive it there, set them to defence with me on turrent and found it a doddle, both APC's survived
Just completed mission 4...
They are not that hard once you run through some trial and error's. But this is why I'm not throwing out a full blown opinion of this game until I have run through it on hardcore, just zipping through it on normal to get used to everything.
Oh, as for the island, maybe I haven't got far into it yet, but I don't feel a huge scale of openness... If I venture too far I get told to get back in the combat zone?

The island feels pretty big to me mate. It can take my breathe away when all i can see for miles around is scenery, excellent stuff! Still need to go find a chopper and do some proper exploring though.

They do seem to take quite long with deliveries nowadays, maybe the company is getting too big for it's own boots too fast? Anyway no worries eh? You got yours for substantially cheaper in the end, even if it did mean you had to venture out in the cold at midnight on the duke when you were..... ill
My reward for pre-ordering was to pay 1/3rd more than if i'd ordered my copy on very the day of release! I've just written an email saying that I doubt that I'll ever pre-order an item again if i'm to be punished for doing so..
Now, I'm off to shoot some AI with vengance.
