ADSL24 are in meltdown just now. Their forums were locked to new posts a short while ago with just 15 minutes advance notice. The reason given is total bull, I expect the hoards of posts complaining about speeds or the lack of them is the real reason.

So I literally have no good options :p

:(

Seems like it. I still might go with ADSL24. Atleast i can move whenever i want after that.

These LLU companies are missing out on loads of money by not enabling exchanges. I would have no problem in forking out 40 quid a month for a good service from Be now.

The ADSL24 LLU is not via cable and wireless (thats were I went wrong!)
it is vivaciti that sell it. I went with them on their cable and wireless LLU I was a little unsure at first to be honest, as I had not heard much about vivacity before but glad I did the speeds are great plus when I had a problem with my router they were really helpful even though it was my router at fault and not the connection.

Hmm not good....Im currently migrating from zen to ADSL24's LLU service.

I hope i have no problems ....zen was faultless apart from the cap and price:(

you should be ok as the LLU is actually from BE. but it does beg the question... why didn't you order direct from BE. adsl24 prices are a rip off compared to them.

Yup i wish i would have done now....I suppose its too late now as it gets activated this coming thursday:mad:

Edit: Im now thinking of canceling if possible and going with BE .

Ive just read ADSL24's T&C's and it says:

2.4.1 If the Customer chooses to cancel the Order after the committed date but before activation the Customer agrees to pay the full activation charges as well as the service rental for Minimum Term. This is irrespective of whether the Customer uses the Service.

The current service im migrating to is a 12 month contract.

From the T&c's does that mean ill have to pay the activation fee which was £49 and 12 months contract or only the activation fee to cancel?

looks like they want you to pay the full term.

is that even legal? surely you should be covered by the distance selling regulations for that.

I have had TalkTalk for a good while & it seems pretty decent.

P.S. I also work for them so I don;t have to deal with teh customer services. Which I think is the major failing of the service.
