Zombieland is awesome. More comedy/action than horror, but its so entertaining and funny.
Woody Harrelson is fantastic in it.
 
What's the remake, where they are in the mall. That is a very good zombie movie.

Other than that, pretty much every zombie movie of the past forty years has been mentioned in this thread!

Steer clear of Day of the Dead remake by the way. It may have Mena Suvari in it, but it's cack.
 
I also watched Doghouse the other day, it was a really good film despite me being a bit uncertain about watching it, considering Danny Dyer is in it. But overall it was a good watch.
 
just to drop a bomb shell but a zombie is classed as a dead body brought back to life by a witch doctor with voodoo magic to which he then commands.

Is that literally a list of every zombie film since 2000? Some absolutely terrible ones in there.

Recently, two of the best have been Doghouse and Zombieland (you can read my Doghouse review here).

I also noticed "La Horde" in the list there. I got to see it back in August, but unfortunately a review embargo was in place as it is yet to have its official premiere in France. Considering the OP's request, "La Horde" is simply the best recommendation I can give -- it's basically "Left 4 Dead: The Movie". Total rocketing action ride from beginning to end.
