I got my Q6600 to clean up the thermal paste in prep for my shuttle tomorrow, and i flipped it over and saw......... NO PINS. So after about 10 minutes of shock.... i searched online and found, they dont do pins anymore :eek:

Thought my day tomorrow was going to be ruined lol

The best one I've had was on a socket 939 when I pulled the heatsink off only to realise that my cpu was attached to the underside of it, and that I'd bent a load of bins in the process. Good times.

I did that once, it just pulled it out apart from one pin on the corner, which it tore off.

It was a P4 from a free computer I'd got given that I was gutting for spares, but still made me sad.

hehehe same sort of thing happend with me....when i pulled out the HS off from my P4 3.0HT and i was like WTF where are the pins????
