NBA 2K10

Well when i test the in the control panel (with the matrix set to normal) it is fine, i hear something from every speaker.

However, when i test them with the matrix set to Gaming, i only hear from the FL and FR.

Thinking about it, in some games it i have to turn the matrix off to hear people speaking (Batman demo, NBA 2K10)

But in most (Crysis, Crysis Warhead, FIFA 10, Mass Effect... list goes on) i set it to gaming and it works fine.

..... not sure what i can do.:confused:
 
Your using onboard audio right?

Go into the Realtek Audio Manager and click on each speaker to test with matrix on and off.
 
No, Prosound sound card.

But i have gone into the software i have and clicked each speaker.

With gaming on i only hear audio from the FL and FR

With normal i hear all of them

With music the FR and FL.

But if i play with Normal on in game, the commentary is still really quiet, even at full. and the rest of the sound doesn't sound as good as when in gaming. Also, when in gaming mode, i can hear from the Sub, RL and RR even though i can't when testing.
Again, i hear voice in other games with the Gaming setting on.

Got to say that i've never really played any of previous NBA games but this has me hooked. The create a player part is excellent and gfx are very good as well as the physics of the players/ball etc.

Very very impressed so far with this. Quiet addictive!!
 
2K9 was a superb game.

Quietly came out of nowhere.

For a dev who makes their bread and butter on consoles, you dont expect much but the series so far has been outstanding.
 
Im using the 360 pad and the triggers/bumbers are opposite to the console buy default. Sprint on console is RT and on PC it is RB.

So does anyone know the button to see which player is assigned to which button for passing, if you know what i mean.

Also, do you have to play the whole season in the D league before getting drafted or if you are good enough at camp will you go straight into the draft?

Need to start my My Player again as i chose to be a defensive SG, which i consider to be my most likely position, but it is so hard to gain ratings from defending.


Also, everyone join the Ocuk Crew that Gimpymoo made :D
 
Got it all set up and running now with the PS3 pad :) works very well, after me learning to set it up. Running the game at 72fps and it looks beautiful, I'm apalling at it but will practice in the coming days until I can work the controls out, last basketball game I had iirc was nba 2006 on xbox.

Got dumped into the D League despite having a B- rating in the first 6 games so i guess that you do have to play the 10/12 games in the d league to boost your stats etc. Started as shooting guard myself but find it hard as nails at times!! Got dumped on by my matchup opponent last night who hit 6 of 6 from 3 point land and 4 of 5 from inside - coach was not happy!:D:D
 
I restarted with a slashing SG so i could just keep driving the lane instead of waiting for easy shots. Now i am in the summer camp for the Nuggets, not sure what comes next. Is there a draft 1st before the full season?

That's what i am playing towards :D
 
does anyone know where steam saves nba 2k10 profiles and games as i have just installed in on my new hard drive and would like to transfer the saved games over?

Edit: Found it now.

Just been cut from the summer camp after 4/6 games even though i had a A- rating.
So i am in the D-League.

Has anyone played their way out of the D-league yet?

Another question if anyone has got this far.
Can you get traded once you are in the NBA? I'm playing of Oklahoma Thunder and would like to get traded. If you can't then thats a bit rubbish and i'll have to play rubbish, get dropped to the D-League and get picked again.
