RFID chips, here they come!

Trust me those that die on the operating theatre table following a bad smash are usually as a result of traumatic injury not some newbie Doctor giving them some antibiotics.

it has nothing to do with being a newbie, it has everything to do with not having the information.

Having the information will improve your chance of survival significantly.

So do I as I'm A[Rh]-. That's good enough for me, no RFID tag thanks.

And that's your choice, but if your card is lost. Thrown out of the car into a hedge or something. But RFID do have a significant value and reason.

save most lives, there are some people they kill.
Using RFID will also give you a greater chance of survival as doctors can have access to all your records. Something which will significantly increase your chance of survival. So yes it does exactly what it says on the tin.
And what happens in the event of computer malfunction? When has a government, specifically NHS, IT scheme ever worked properly?

The greatest cause of death in RTA is nothing to do with medication or treatment given after the accident, but trauma to the internal organs cause by the impact of the virtually instantaneous deceleration.

I'm actually glad that someone else in this thread understands this point.

And where did I say otherwise? of course the greatest reason for death is the trauma. But with out proper medical history there are cases where people will gointo shock from allergic reactions or wrong treatment is given, or some treatment missed.

If there's a computer malfunction, they do what they do at the moment and your chance of a full recovery and survival goes down a couple of percentage points.

It's ok, someone'll just invent an EMP gun and take out hundreds of these chips by firing it at large crowds.

Someone invents an EMP gun and instead of becoming one of the richest people alive for revolutionizing warfare oir one of the most successful terrorists ever by shutting down and airport tower or planes electronics.

no they'll do practical jokes with it...

Although in your example they would gain some notoriety for killing people with pacemakers or insulin pumps i suppose.

Computer malfunction is an exceptional circumstance. The current system for patient management (without RFID) could also malfunction.

They are not saying that an RFID implant will save 100% of people involved in car accidents, the ones with severe injuries will still die but the people who do not die instantly may have a better chance of survival if their vital medical info is at hand.

So teki you're referencing this buds84 as if he;s credible (although you also reference "Dr" matthias rath)

The guy that claims "they" are giving you diabetes...

While that's all quite funny, surely its better to take stuff for what it is and not based on a persons credibility?

I think there are concerning trends in the world when it comes to our freedoms and the state of government and society, not everything is a conspiracy just because some think it is and neither is it impossible for them to exist, i can bet you there are some corrupt people in business and government who would love nothing more than to use such technologies for greed and control, but there's more obvious issues like what could go wrong, the slippery slope is likely, as time goes on if you don't get a chip you can't work, shop or function in society and if something goes wrong you're screwed.

Ok.

The same people that caused you to have diabetes are the same ones trying to RFID you.

Care to explain?

Because if you're saying we must take this as it is without checking the persons credibility , you must have proof either for or against his arguments.

So enlighten us.

Me i prefer to see if the person is worth the hassle of disproving or backing before i try.

So you oppose birth certificates too then?

Or national security numbers?

I'm going to scan job applicants for family history of heart disease, then collect all their pension money when they drop dead at 65!

*Rubs hands together in glee*

Ooh ooh, and scan strangers in the street and announce their private medical conditions to everyone! Tee hee! Everyone will know you have piles!
