I was thinking the same thing, beat the **** outta some criminals. :p

But then again they do have modified street racing cars from the looks of the screenshots could be fun to drive about in. :) Police Lambo would be awesome! :D
 
Nope it started to download the lot, then stopped at an error. I could then click repair. That check all the files I had downloaded.

15 mins left.

But servers are not up till the end of the weekend.
 
im gonna be a cop, i wont customize my car with a load of artwork like they keep showing because i think it looks stupid, give me a black and white cruiser any day :P

cant wait till sundays playtest

How can it break the protection act? It's a survey. Don't like it, don't fill it out, don't get in the beta. They want to know who's going to be playing the game and that info tells them.

The only way it can break the protection act is if they give the data out with your name on it.

Oh well one less idiot in the beta I guess.

Anyway, downloading now, got half way, clicked the use p2p button thinking It wont possibly start downloading all the files again and it did. So will let it download another time.

lol i was thinking of clicking that to see what it did, glad i didnt now.
 
i got accepted and registered, but I cant even get the launcher to start downloading yet. config file missing :/
