New nvidia GPU card launch October 30th

Hey, fancy dress is fun! All the fancy dress parties I've been to have resulted in a lot of alcohol being consumed and fun times ensuing! Plus, if I'm honest, Nvidia have every right to plug Arkham Asylum. It's the first game that has actually made any difference to the graphics when using physx :(

*edit* just read the 'non-alcoholic' bit of the blurb, ok Nvidia have lost all my vote

Bit a joke really, good on them for throwing a party with food and drink though (non-alcoholic, the best you can get :D)

That's the problem it should not be making any difference to the gfx as in being there or not, it should be only making a difference to some of the movement of the gfx.

it has to be an 8800 of some sort with a physX card sellotaped to it.

you know it could almost be worth buying if it was atleast a 260 though :p

Was that article written by a 60 year old who thinks they are down with the youth of today?

I mean really:

a rocking new graphics card

Yeah, sounds "ace".

hobnob with fellow gamers

How does one hobnob? Why would one want to do it in the company of 300 nerds?

come dressed up as your favorite Batman character

Was there a prize offered to the person who wrote the article with the most possible references to Batman: AA?

including a sweet 4–way rig designed for the uber gamer.

...

OK, serious guess.

Dual GPU card. 200 series and g92 chip on one pcb. launched as the gtx285 physX edition.

With ideas like this I could work for nvidia, I just rehashed two old chips into one product.
