Burger King in Hospitals

I wonder how much Burger King had to bribe them to pull this off. Maybe some sort of profit sharing arrangement?
Im sure Burger King gave them an offer they couldn't refuse.

It's a bit of hypocritical really especially as hospital food is ok in some hospitals considering the chef probably is allotted at most 2 quid per day to deliver 3 courses per patient. Always makes me laugh that will spend 1000's of quid on drugs but won't spend any money ensuring people get adequate rest and nutrition.

I saw this on a programme on BBC Three last night. There's one in the Hospital which specialises in Heart Surgery. It's a joke.

Exactly what I thought, had I been hungry I'd have had an XL Bacon Double Cheeseburger meal, a bargain at 10p less than it is on the high street.

Oh man, good taste. I hate the crap they put on burgers such as gurkins etc but with this burger it comes with bacon, burger, cheese and THAT'S IT!.

My favourite burger from all these fast food places :)

If you've been very ill and are starting to get your appetite back, especially if your a kid then having some junk food might speed up the recovery. Obviously if your a 40 year old after a heart attack, red meat might not be the best thing to have :)

I wish they had it in my local hospital, it would have got my custom every night last time I was in there :) I loooove Burger King nom nom :)

Last time I was in hospital food was junk, so BK would have been an improvement...

Sometimes when recovering, junky food is what you need. If you're weak and have nothing in you, then sometimes just any food is better then none at all.

As said though, if you've had an heart attack, BK 'might' not be the best choice....

I mean, we all know how good you feel after having a bad cold or something and eating a bacon and egg sandwich really does make you feel better once you can stomach food again.... Fact.!! lol

I wish there was a Burger King in my town, never mind in the hospital! Nearest is a Motorway service station a few miles away, which charges silly prices.
