"Co-op/Multiplayer Hosting: To host Co-op or MP matches, a 2Ghz dual-core or better processor is recommended. "

lol, obviously the quality and speed of your internet doesn't matter when hosting games. It's all about the CPU.

I think this will be one lots will if i dare say the words, shall we just say what jack sparrow was ;) rather than waste that sort of money on poor mp game.

Why is it going to be poor. I take it ive missed something important like its a terrible crippled console port or something

Multiplayer support for dedicated servers has been removed. Which means its all p2p and will cause horrendous lag with most people

Wow, the last couple of games where outstanding and although I only really played them single player I honestly can't think of a single reason why they would take MP out as 8 out of 10 cats prefer it!

Well I didn't buy COD4 for ages after release at around £20, will probably wait until I can get it for that.

lolz joke of a price for a crippled useless game

See. Thats the thing you dont know that. I understand your anger about recent anouncements but you do not have ANYTHING other than the written word to cause you to say that.

You havent played it, either single or multiplayer so wouldnt it make more sense to keep your trap shut until you have actually played it?

Stop being so reactionary and internet cliche....just hush up until you actually have something more substantial to attack....

I'd just like to clarify. MP is still in, in the form of matchmaking. So theres no dedicated servers for better online performance and stability. You will be relying on the player's connections to serve.

This also means lower player counts than what PC users are used to.

Basically, the game has been ported from consoles and they have not bothered to upgrade the MP infrastructure aspect to what PC gamers would expect.

No more expensive than the price I paid for Empire Total War on release. However, I'll be waiting to see how things go with the dedicated servers before purchase even on a Steam weekend deal.
