A 29 year old man was prosecuted in the USA because people cutting across his garden, saw him naked, IN HIS HOUSE.

How much do you think he was fined.

local police are saying that he did the naked bit on purpose and that he wanted to be seen, sounds ******* to me. he got up very early in the morning, made a brew and someone cuts through his garden?? why should he be done! quite annoyed by this.

Make sure you fully star out any swear words please.

It seems you're not aware of this, but in fact the law regarding indecent exposure actually varies greatly depending on wether you are male or female.

As unfair as it sounds, if a woman is naked in her house and a man notices from outside he can be arrested. However reverse the situation and it is the man (inside his own house) who can be arrested. This is because by law it is the mans responsibility to cover himself up. Yes men can be naked in their own home. Just not near windows, unless the curtains are drawn.

This is UK law.

Sounds fair to me....I mean have you not looked at the equipment recently? It's hardly a pretty sight...

As Dylan Moran says "There is only so much you can do with a thing that looks like its hanging out of the side of a sharks mouth".

Hangon, that doesn't sound right to me. I know by law women can walk around outside in the buff so long as they aren't doing cart wheels. So surely unless someone is actually lurking in the rose bush it's the owners responsibility to draw the curtains if they don't want people casually looking in?

I was of the impression that he had been charged but that a prosecution hadn't been confirmed. Doesn't really matter, I don't agree with the charge. That said I make a point of not being naked near the windows at the front of the house.
