ST220 pulling left during braking

Problem with a sticking brake or something? Mk3 mondeos didnt have the pulling to the left issues. Also not because of the road camber is it?

I must admit I did wonder about the road camber myself.

But its on the same roads I usually drive and it feels odd compared to how the car usually behaves.

Tyres are both the same as well.

Also only in the wet.

I had an issue with my 220 pulling to the side when the rear alignment was out.

Although that was pulling all the time but more noticeably under acceleration / breaking.

I dont have a 220 but when ever i have read Haynes manuals and car topics usualy its to do with the brake on the side its pulling either sticking on or gripping more than the others

Wait for one st220 to come along and you get 2 at once.:D

Checked the tyre pressures and they're all fine.

Definitely going to get somebody to have a look and see if its the brake sticking or possible tracking issue.

Either way at least its nothing major...:)

My Mk3 Mondeo - Facelift 2003 2.5 V6 also pulled to the left occasionally when braking, never got to the bottom of it and the ford garage and local garage were fairly useless, I just put up with it and eventually sold it on (for a profit too :))

It never pulled strongly but it was noticeable.

Think most of the obvious ones have been mentioned:

Tyre pressure
Tyre wear (Are they getting near to the limit?)
Road camber
When was last fluid change? maybe a small amount of air in system?
Bushes on your wishbone
Balljoint maybe (not sure on setup on ST220)
TREs worn

Put your hand next to the offending wheel after a journey, if it's a lot hotter than the other side it'll be a sticky piston!

m8 had this in his 2007 ST220, turned out to be a sticking front caliper which i thought was odd however replaced under warranty

Why would a sticking caliper be odd? It's quite common.

Going to pop into garage that I use and get somebody to have a look at it.

Definitely feels a bit off, but nothing major.

Thanks for the wisdom much appreciated. ;)
