*** Street Fighter IV League (Season 2) ***

Mate I've only ever played it on a 360 pad or Fightpad which is far from a perfect experience, but then I'm probably not in the same league as some of you guys. Shelling out £100 + on a joystick would likely put me very much in the doghouse with the missus... ahh the joys of an existance under a thumb.. :(

You can pick up the TE stick for a little over £50 I think now!

Plus fully sympathise with the missus factor... gotta know when to pick the right time to announce :D
 
Hey guys a tad OT but....

I've recently purchased this and am wondering if it's worth the £££'s getting the joystick, does it make you a better player?

Is it worth getting on the stick early as I'll only be limiting myself using a pad?

I'm always about the friendlies mate :) Tournament/league games are a means to an end. It's how I get a list of decent players to have regular friendlies with.....

(Hehe, only cos I'm rubbish though!! If I was anywhere near being a contender I have no doubt I'd take them much more seriously!!!)

Just lost 6 straight matches online.... from 1100 ish to 600 in less than 20 mins.
Hate this bloody game soooo much sometimes arghhhhh *resists urge to do somthing childish with controller and wall*

lol that happend to me on the ps3 version went from 2k to around 1300 in one horrible sitting

didnt play ranked for a month was afraid ill just lose more

worst thing of all i knew if i played properly could have won most of those matches
 
right I haven't played a match for a bit, I shall be on til about 10pm now so invite me if you see me on and if im in a match i will join straight after
 
Have been discussing with chris [beans] that we had a match i think a couple of weeks ago, i forgot to report here and we dont know the exact results except for the fact that i won.

We have talked amongst ourselves and agreed on:

me 3 - 2 chris
chris 2 - 3 me.

New components should be here today so I'm hoping to get some more of my games played tonight, but more likely tomorrow night. :D
 
Hah i've watched it already :p
I liked the second fight - some really close rounds, and i didn't expect the last round to end the way it did.
