10 most disliked drivers - which one are you?

I'd add another 10 to that list.

Middle lane morons
Merge in turn
Tailgaters
People using mobile phones
Aggressive drivers
Lack of observation / road awareness
Not understanding the rules of the road
Motorbike haters
Cyclists
Horses

Amazed there are so many rule abiding saints on this forum. kinda proud that I'm not! :p

+ Old People. Probably my biggest hate.

I'm not "perfect" in the eyes of the law but I do not fit into any of those categories.

People who drive stupidly under the speed limit, brake erratically (for seemingly no reason), are in the wrong gear for downhills and ride the brakes make my blood boil the most. 90% of the time it's old people.

None really, but I did drive a white van at work at one point. Although I was probably one of the few people in the country who did that while wearing a full full 3 piece suit suit :p

Add merge-in-turn-blockerers to that list, normally lorries that straddle two lanes for miles to stop people merging in turn where they're supposed to.

I hardly ever say thanks as I just abide by the highway code. I don't feel the need to give someone an ego boost just because they decided to obey the law for once. It annoys me when people think they're doing you a massive favour and they're really not. Once I was walking across a zebra crossing and a guy drove up beside me and had a go because I didn't thank him for stopping for me, so I gave him my best sarcastic thankyou and sent him on his way.

I guess you could class me as a sunday driver too as I do 30 in 30 zones, which makes you one. Certainly in Essex anyway. Seems the further up north you go, the nicer the drivers get.

Ahh! I HATE school run mum drivers - from my experience they are the most aggressive drivers and fall under a number of those hated driving 'crimes'

Where's the options of:
1. "ignorant selfish git drivers", i.e. the people who'll enter a junction when the traffic is stopped ahead of them preventing people coming the other way turning right
2. Cocks in Audi's with no braking distance
3. Drivers with no idea of lane discipline

how can middle lane morons NOT be on that list?
how can 40mph everywhere drivers not be on that list?

while some may class me as a "Boy racer",i dont think i am, and i hate them too.

my list would be:

1: MiddleLaneMorons
2: Boy Racers
3: Slow people (sunday drivers?)
4: 40mph everywhere drivers
5: Bus's, yes i know you have to give way to them, but i shouldnt have to slam my brakes on to avoid stupid drivers that pull out without even looking while im beside them.
6: People that dont say thanks
7: Caravans.
8: Tailgaters.
9: 4x4's
10: motorbikes that seem to purposely sit in your blind spot. Either stay behind where i can see you, or hurry up and pass me.

Is it just me that hits the brakes when i'm being tailgated to warn them to back off?

I hate the fact the driver behind is selfish enough to put me in danger should something happen upfront and I have to brake quickly.

Wheres the option for old biffers?

Without a doubt my most disliked category of drivers.

I'm not exactly ageist, but after an old man in his 80's hit me head on and wrote my car off, it really opened my eyes to the frankly appalling standard of driving the vast majority of seniors grace our roads with.

Age is something that comes to everyone, but there comes a point where you have to say enough is enough. If the older generation are safe enough to be on our roads, then surely they wouldn't mind taking a re-test.

I hate school run mums. On one occasion, I had one give me evil eyes and flicking Vs at me because I pressed my horn once as she blocked my lane for quite a while when trying to turn right on a busy carriageway - she couldn't wait at the stop line like everyone else.

I'm kind of guilty of 4 and 3 :p.

My biggest hate is people who don't keep to the right ( middle lane morons don't bother me on 3 lane motorways, as there's still a lane free to overtake them, but on 2 lane (per dir) roads, I HATE people who don't go right and the only way to overtake them is illegally on the right.
And people who pull out in front of me, I was driving back from the cinema yesterday minding my own business at 50ish mph, and the stupid suzuki alto pulls out in front of me ( misjudged my speed) causing me to have to slam the brake for him...

I generally don't have a problem with Cyclists. The Cyclists that do annoy though are the ones geared-up like their doing the Tour de France, who seem to think it's ok to ride three abreast and continue to do so even if i've been sat behind them for 20 seconds.

You you increase the chances of a rear-ender by braking unnecessarily? With logic skills like that you could be a woman...
