Yes, it is back for me now too. It disappeared for a while in the middle of yesterday but is now back and happy as ever. Or should I say it is back and I am as happy as ever?

Just use the "Search Options" next time... the options to search for just images, reviews, forums... are in there.

When you go to the home page there is no buttons instead it says press enter if you move your mouse the buttons and text appear

There's a significant delay between the Google Logo, Search text box and the links at the top of the screen appearing for me (Windows7, IE8)

Almost like a fade effect, but, er, crap.
