My new car.

That looks tastycakes! Like the gold alloys to be sure. Some guy here has an older gen of some sort in the same colour. I love the burbling as he goes about the car park (to leave or enter it. He doesn't do laps).

Congrats, just how an impreza should look :)

Although i'll echo the above question, did an evo not appeal?

Cheers for the comments guys. As far as i'm aware, only the WR1 and certain STis had the adjustable diff, mine has it.

As for Evos, yes they were considered as were M3s but I was spending far too much time faffing around with what it was I wanted and it still came back to the Scoob, it just hits the spot for me right now. For the money I would have been looking at an older Evo and I prefer the shape of the Scoob. The main toss up was between an M3 and this and am glad with the final decision.

Looks like the previous owner wasn't scared to throw money at the car.....which is just the sort of person you want to buy a car from.
Nice purchase, enjoy it.

Looks great, but what's your take on the handling? I wasn't keen onthe one I drove, felt very .... Floaty ?

that aside, As lordmike said they seem to perform well in a straight line with mods, what you got planned ?

Brilliant car. I love it. Will you be taking it on any track days?

Imports, WR1 and any STi from the facelifted'/revised blob eyes (iirc 05 plate onwards) including the Hawkeye and the latest ones :)

I still think these are cracking cars and are available for decent money now, I'd want one of the revised 05 onwards models as well :)
